Murdoch Avenue Bridge Closed
The Murdoch Avenue bridge at Interstate 44 has been closed. Construction of a new bridge is expected to take about six months. There is no access to Murdoch from Big Bend Boulevard in Old Orchard. The westbound entrance ramp to I-44 off of Murdoch will remain open and is accessible from Laclede Station Road.
Here are several options to consider when driving to our office in Old Orchard.
1. Heading west on I-44: Take the Shrewsbury exit and turn left; cross Big Bend; make a left turn on Newport; then left on Spring; then left on Dale; then right onto Bigg Bend.
2. Heading east on I-44: Take Elm exit and turn left; then right onto Big Bend.
3. From South County: Take Laclede Station Road north; make a left onto Jackson Road, then right on Edgar, then right onto Big Bend.
